CHICAGO CUFF MEDIUM BRASS
Handmade from brass and anodized aluminum.
6" X 1.5"
For all pieces, care should be taken to not wear while swimming either in chlorinated water or salt water as it will corrode the aluminum.
Gogo Jewelry cuffs are flexible but care should be taken to not squeeze sides until a bend occurs in the metal. Gently curving the cuff with one's whole hand to fit a small wrist should suffice.
Anodized aluminum refers to the colorful layers of most Gogo Jewelry pieces. Some jewelry pieces are sterling silver without anodized aluminum, generally earrings and necklaces. If you are unsure about the components of your piece, please ask us.
Sterling Silver and Anodized Aluminum Pieces
UPDATE: We have found that Weiman Silver Wipes work incredibly well for quick and easy cleaning up. Simply wipe the jewelry down with the cloth and then rinse in water using a soft toothbrush to remove the cleaner from the metals.
Dry with soft cloth - you can always touch up any lint remnants on your jewelry with a dry soft toothbrush.
TIP: we keep the used cloths in a ziplock to re-use by adding a splash of water if they dry out - extends the use a few times.
Sterling Silver Pieces WITHOUT Anodized Aluminum
If the piece is 100% sterling silver, you can use silver cleaner for the piece. If you are unsure about the components of your piece, please ask us.
Brass and Anodized Aluminum Pieces
If the brass on your piece starts to tarnish, we recommend using BRASSO or a silver polishing cloth to clean. A dry soft toothbrush can be used to clean out the cutouts.
If the brass is very tarnished, use a soft stainless steel welding brush (available at hardware stores) to gently clean. Use a very light touch and diagonal strokes so that the brush does not come into contact with the anodized aluminum. After brushing, use a dry soft toothbrush to clean out the cutouts.
